Technical Sales Representative

Key Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Manage ongoing product and service requirements and monitor client base for expansion or growth.
  • Develop new accounts on an on-going basis through active prospecting, referrals, leads and personal initiatives.
  • Provide assistance in the development of new opportunities with other sales personnel.
  • Provide assistance in the development of new, lead-share opportunities through existing customers to sell other value-added products and services.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with all suppliers (internal and external) in order to ensure timely delivery of product to our customers.
  • Promote, educate and sell the various solutions provided by AIL.
  • Provide project management support, and ensure all non-conformances are handled with a sense of urgency, including prompt communication with all applicable parties.
  • Trade shows - prepare prospective meetings, demonstrations and attendance at trade shows.
  • Receive customer feedback and capture in Salesforce.com; ensure resolution of customer complaints and inquiries as required for ISO
  • Experience and Qualifications

     

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering are preferred
  • 3 - 5 years Sales Experience
  •  

     

    Additional Skills:

     

     

  • Experience in the construction industry an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication (verbal & written), time management and organizational skills.
  • Must be able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Computer skills using MS Office software programs are required
  •  

     

    This position is a "Home Based" position and necessary office equipment will be provided.
