Technical Sales Representative

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Manage ongoing product and service requirements and monitor client base for expansion or growth.
Develop new accounts on an on-going basis through active prospecting, referrals, leads and personal initiatives.
Provide assistance in the development of new opportunities with other sales personnel.
Provide assistance in the development of new, lead-share opportunities through existing customers to sell other value-added products and services.
Maintain excellent working relationships with all suppliers (internal and external) in order to ensure timely delivery of product to our customers.
Promote, educate and sell the various solutions provided by AIL.
Provide project management support, and ensure all non-conformances are handled with a sense of urgency, including prompt communication with all applicable parties.
Trade shows - prepare prospective meetings, demonstrations and attendance at trade shows.
Receive customer feedback and capture in Salesforce.com; ensure resolution of customer complaints and inquiries as required for ISO
Experience and Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering are preferred
3 - 5 years Sales Experience
Additional Skills:
Experience in the construction industry an asset
Excellent interpersonal, customer service, communication (verbal & written), time management and organizational skills.
Must be able to prioritize work, be flexible, and work with minimum supervision
Exceptional time management and organizational skills
Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Computer skills using MS Office software programs are required
This position is a "Home Based" position and necessary office equipment will be provided.
