Regional Sales Manager

Key Duties and Responsibilities

  • As part of the regional management team will assist in the creation of the overall regional sales strategy.
  • Will direct all activities of the sales, marketing activities for Ontario through sales team.
  • Identify, hire and coach new sales staff to ensure personal and professional success.
  • Advise on standard pricing for products; determine pricing on all customer work, establish pricing guidelines
  • Establish and monitor department budgets
  • Direct staff to meet or exceed sales goals
  • Develop inter-department relationships between sales, engineering and manufacturing to ensure products are designed to meet customer specifications
  • Support collaboration between sales, engineering and manufacturing to meet goals
  • Conduct market analysis and research to identify potential markets and guide product offerings
  • Work with sales team in a "hands on" fashion, requiring frequent travel with sales team
  • Strong leadership of sales team to ensure morale and overall departmental productivity is met
  • Evaluate staff objectively and address challenges and shortcomings in a timely and effective manner.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering is preferred
  • 10 - 15 years Sales Experience with a minimum of 5 years in management
