Precast Panel Walls

AIL's Precast Panel Walls (also known as stabilized earth walls, mechanically stabilized earth walls, MSE walls, or reinforced earth walls) are a highly-reliable wall system incorporating the use of precast panels with galvanized steel welded bar mats (or wire mats) to reinforce a retained soil mass. The panels are available in a variety of sizes.

This technically-mature and well-proven system is composed of alternating layers of soil reinforcement and select backfill to create an extremely stable (or inextensible) reinforced structure that is easily adaptable to meet the structural and aesthetic demands of today's projects.
