New branding extension captures AIL’s position as Canada’s Bridge & Infrastructure Company

Atlantic Industries Limited (AIL) is launching a new brand extension to better communicate its position as a national leader in efficient bridges and infrastructure.

In business since 1965 and known for its innovative products and high levels of service, AIL has operated under their We Support You banner for most of the last two decades. However, strategic acquisitions and significant growth have transformed the company into a Canadian powerhouse with locations coast to coast and a full range of engineered infrastructure solutions: plate bridges, prefabricated bridges, culvert bridges, bridge abutments, retaining walls, drainage systems, sound barriers and more.

In response to increased demand for prefabricated bridges, AIL can now provide solutions from a number of sources. Our AIL Group sister company, Big R Bridge, has added an eastern production facility and AIL International has secured exclusive Canadian distributorships with Ontario-based Algonquin Bridge and the international Mabey Bridge Limited. This relationship also lets us produce custom vehicular and pedestrian bridges with Algonquin.

In announcing the branding shift, Kenzie MacPherson, President, Atlantic Industries Limited, commented, “Most of our competitors are regional in scope or are limited to only certain types of products. We need to better differentiate AIL to our customers, in terms of who we are, what we do and where we do it. Our new Canada’s Bridge & Infrastructure Company branding extension does this quite nicely.”

AIL’s Vice-President, Sales, Jason Sherwood, adds, “The slogan, coupled with the sweeping, open-ended bridge icon on a Canadian foundation, says ‘Canada, we have your bridges and more.’ We offer so many options now and we can package solutions, like bridges and abutments, to deliver even more value to our customers.”

The new Canada’s Bridge & Infrastructure Company branding extension will be used in conjunction with the existing AIL diamonds logo and will be rolled out immediately on AIL’s Canadian marketing materials, such as their new compendium brochure.
