Get wall-to-wall success with our structure-mounted sound barrier expertise.
AIL Sound Walls are most often ground-mounted on concrete piers, but their light weight makes them ideal to mount to various types of structures such as concrete traffic barriers, bridge rail systems or MSE wall systems. Our in-house engineering capability with multiple systems ensures project success in all types of structure-mounted noise barriers.
Mounting to our MSE Precast Panel Walls
AIL Sound Walls can be integrated with our MSE Precast Panel Walls via two different methods. The sound barrier’s concrete piers can be installed immediately behind the retaining wall as its Grid-Strip Soil Reinforcement System will easily accommodate them. Or the sound barrier wall’s support posts can be flange mounted to concrete momentum slab caps on the retaining wall, as show below.
