High water and ice events during the spring thaw had seriously eroded the banks of the Assiniboine River and damaged an existing outfall culvert alongside a CP Rail ROW in Brandon, Manitoba.

The new culvert was part of an extensive bank stabilization project and the area has since been fenced off and graded by CP Rail.
Culvert replacement expedited to deliver three weeks earlier than quoted
After the project was awarded and drawings were approved, the City requested a delivery three weeks earlier than the schedule we had quoted on. We quickly reviewed the request with our Project Manager who got the order into production at our Ayr, ON, plant just before another project was being started. This also entailed fast-tracking the Best•Kote Polymer Coating.
The assembly/installation went smoothly and when all was said and done, our lead contact with Brandon Engineering expressed appreciation for everything we did to help get it all completed on the accelerated schedule.
Our second recent Polymer-Coated Bolt-A-Plate Culvert in Manitoba
The Brandon project is our second recent Polymer-Coated outfall culvert to be installed in Manitoba. The image below shows the Lodge Avenue, Winnipeg outfall culvert we designed and supplied in 2020.
