• Kelowna Bolt-A-Plate fish passage installation less baffling with AIL Rep’s on-site assistance

  An AIL Bolt-A-Plate Pipe Arch with fish baffle inserts was recently installed as a fish passage solution on Upper Booth Road in Kelowna, BC. The Pipe Arch shape was selected for its wider bottom geometry that allows for improved hydraulic flow rates, similar to another Pipe Arch we provided in West Kelowna.

• New Ultra-Cor wildlife overpass near Canmore, Alberta, expected to dramatically reduce collisions

  Twin 24 m Ultra-Cor arches are taking shape quickly on a new wildlife overpass known as Stoney Nakoda Exshaw Wildlife Arch, just east of Canmore on the Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 1) in the Bow Valley Gap at Exshaw, Alberta.

• Bolt-A-Plate and MSE Precast Panel Walls featured in Calgary’s Sarcee Trail interchange

  The interchange at Sarcee Trail and the TransCanada Highway (16th Avenue NW) helped support Calgary’s traffic demands and provided access to the newly developed Trinity Hills — a large residential community of luxury apartments, modern townhomes, seniors’ housing and supporting commercial developments next to Canada Olympic Park on the western side of the City.

• AIL team expedites Polymer-Coated Bolt-A-Plate culvert to meet Brandon’s accelerated schedule

  High water and ice events during the spring thaw had seriously eroded the banks of the Assiniboine River and damaged an existing outfall culvert alongside a CP Rail ROW in Brandon, Manitoba. The new culvert was part of an extensive bank stabilization project and the area has since been fenced off and graded by CP Rail.

• AIL’s Bolt-A-Plate is the go-to culvert replacement option for northern Alberta project

  When a set of three old culverts needed to be replaced under Township Road 722, about 33 km southwest of High Prairie, the project team went with a single, much larger culvert made from AIL’s Bolt-A-Plate Structural Steel Plate.
