Super•Cor’s deep corrugations support the heaviest loads.
The superior strength and durability of Super•Cor’s deep-corrugated, galvanized steel let you create some of the largest structural plate box culverts, arches, tunnels and more.
Super•Cor provides nine times the stiffness of conventional structural plate — capable of withstanding the heaviest of loads. Internationally-accepted and widely-used, Super•Cor is one of the most versatile and economical corrugated steel products available.
Super strong, flexible and resilient
Culvert tunnels made from Super•Cor carry loads through soil-structure interaction, meaning the steel structure and the backfill soils act together to support the loads. Settlement tolerances for structural plate corrugated steel pipe is much higher than that of traditional bridges and concrete structures — allowing for lower foundation costs.
Structural plate box culverts offer increased clearance and flow
Super•Cor structural plate box culverts offer optimal clearance box and hydraulic flow geometry along with shallow covers for low-rise applications.
Recommended applications
Super•Cor is recommended for bridges, tunnels, grade separations, road or rail underpasses, stream crossings, box culverts, culvert relines, heavy haul road arches, stockpile tunnels, portals, canopies and storage structures.
